Inclplay collaborates with experts in child development and inclusion to create equipment suitable for children with different ability levels, as well as to develop resources that can assist you in establishing your inclusive play area.
By adhering to our 8 Keys to Inclusion, you can create a play environment that surpasses The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), engaging individuals of all ages and abilities. From making sure everyone can access the most thrilling piece of playground equipment to offering varying levels of challenge, these guidelines will help you develop a valuable resource for your entire community.
There is an ongoing discussion within the autism community regarding the preference for identity-first (autistic person) versus person-first (person with autism) language. Inclplay recognizes that this choice is deeply personal, particularly for those within the autism community. Since there’s no terminology that satisfies both perspectives, Inclplay employs both person-first and identity-first language.
Every child, regardless of their abilities, should have the opportunity to enjoy not only the developmental advantages of play but also the joy and lasting memories it brings! Our inclusive playground equipment fosters community bonds, creating significant interactions that influence future generations.
